Analyst
Nick Has been an analyst with George Smith Partners since June 2023 working directly for Evan Kinne & Ed Steffelin with a focus on asset level financing and the capitalization of complex, structured projects. He is Responsible for underwriting, vetting, and marketing all existing and prospective transactions for his respective team with a pipeline in excess of $2 billion. Nick is responsible for lender and joint venture outreach, the development of complex financial models, the preparation of offering memoranda and the coordination of the due diligence and closing process. Nick has experience with complex, structured transactions and non-traditional capital solutions, sub debt, pref equity, C-Pace financing, and ground lease bifurcations.
Prior to George Smith Partners, Nick worked as a summer analyst with LoanCore Capital, where he sized and underwrote over 30 prospective senior financing transactions with deal sizes ranging from $50M to $250M across all property types and geographies. His sophomore year of college, he interned with a multifamily real estate developer, Canfield Development, where he assisted in underwriting prospective acquisitions and drafting their value-add investment package. Nick graduated from University of Southern California in 2023 with a B.S in real estate development. Aside from work, Nick enjoys skiing, golf surfing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
