For more than 20 years, Doug has been involved in real estate finance and development, including structured finance, land acquisition and development, and asset management. He was a co-founder of a boutique financial advisory and asset management firm where he managed the firm’s real estate portfolio, structured joint ventures with hedge funds and private equity firms, competed land acquisitions, and originated senior debt transactions.
Doug was a Managing Director for a real estate capital advisory firm focused on land and homebuilder transactions. He was instrumental in launching homebuilder financing initiatives and building partnerships with institutional and private real estate investment firms.
Prior to his real estate career, Doug served as a Senior Vice President of Business Development responsible for mergers and acquisitions and global partnerships for an Internet Technology holding company. During his tenure, he completed several acquisitions of digital assets and structured partnerships with leading technology and software companies.
Doug earned a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Idaho State University.
