Steve Bridges

Steve Bridges is Senior Director in George Smith Partner’s Orange County office where he is focused on securing the placement of the best possible income property real estate loans, equity and JV financing for his clients. He joined George Smith Partners in 2025 following a 14-year tenure at Q10 | Westcap where he was Executive Vice President handling loan originations.

Steve’s background includes running two major bank construction lending departments—including handling loan work-outs and turn-around of the second bank’s real estate department, reorganization of a local development company, followed by the co-development of over 1-million SF of commercial properties—as well as the development and management of his own commercial income property portfolio since 1980. Bridges also served as acting president of three successful mortgage banking companies, has arranged several billions of dollars of financing of all product types including $600,000,000+ in construction and permanent hospitality financing.
