Scott Croul is Senior Director of debt, equity and structured finance at George Smith Partners providing real estate capital strategies and solutions to his clients.

He is a real estate capital markets expert with over 30 years of commercial real estate experience with the last 15 years specializing in multifamily properties. This includes 7 years leading the western region at Freddie Mac Multifamily, where he was responsible for over $65 Billion in multifamily capitalizations, having expanded regional operations from 1 to 4 locations and growing annual loan originations from $3.2 Billion to nearly $14 Billion.

More recently, he has been focused on structured debt and equity solutions at Peakhill Capital, a multifamily preferred equity investor, Veleta Capital, a multifamily bridge lender and Partners Capital Solutions, a private debt fund with $350MM AUM where he was fund manager. Further relevant past positions include leadership roles with Orix Real Estate Capital and Manulife Financial Real Estate as well as mortgage banking roles at Capmark, CBRE and The Alison Company.

Mr. Croul graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and holds a California real estate brokers license.
