Mr. Bootman has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, including roles as a developer, owner/operator, lender, and capital advisor. Throughout his career, he has been involved in over $5 billion of real estate transactions across the capital stack and major property types.

Before rejoining GSP, Mr. Bootman was Vice President of Finance at WS Communities, where he focused on raising debt and equity capital for a 4,000+ unit development portfolio. Previously, he served as Vice President of Acquisitions and Development at DM Development, a premier multifamily and condominium developer, where he managed acquisitions, development, and finance for projects valued at over $500M. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Acquisitions at Kennedy Wilson, a global real estate investment firm, where he concentrated on acquiring commercial properties on the West Coast. Earlier in his career, he worked as Vice President at GSP, raising debt and equity capital for clients and closing over $300M in transactions. Mr. Bootman began his career at Pacific Life in 2008, where he closed more than $3 billion in construction loans, permanent financings, and JV equity investments in the office, multifamily, hotel, and retail sectors.

Education

Mr. Bootman holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
