Nate Weyer is a Senior Managing Director at George Smith Partners, focusing on both Advisory Services and the Direct Placement of Real Estate Capital inclusive of both debt and equity for real estate operating companies and developers.

His area of expertise is in structuring both complex roll-up credit strategies for both secured and unsecured facilities targeting all real estate asset classes on a national level, including timberland financings, agriculture specialty financings, and 1031DST bridge structures and credit lines.

Mr. Weyer has arranged over $10BN in financing commitments over his 25+ year real estate career holding Senior Level roles at LaSalle National Bank in Chicago and KeyBank Real Estate Capital Markets in Atlanta, GA. Starting at LaSalle, he was an instrumental contributor to financing the downtown Chicago residential market inclusive of marque high-rise condominium developments and eventually being part of the team that started up the National Homebuilder Group, where he started the Dallas office. While at KeyBank he focused on structuring corporate level financings for REITs and Funds both private and public vehicles. Most recently, Weyer was a Managing Director at Franklin Street Capital specializing over the last several years in Advisory assignments that allowed real estate investors to navigate the current disruption in the real estate capital markets and restructurings.

Mr. Weyer graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a concentration in Finance.
