Matthew Higgins

Matthew Higgins brings nearly three decades of experience in commercial real estate finance and capital markets, with a proven track record across leading global investment banks and alternative asset platforms. Most recently, he served in the Commercial Real Estate Finance Group at Barclays, where he originated and closed over $10 billion in large-loan CMBS and balance sheet financing across all asset classes for institutional clients.

Before joining GSP, Matthew held roles at PropCap, Goldman Sachs, Annaly Commercial Real Estate Group, UBS, and Morgan Stanley, where he structured, executed, and managed complex commercial real estate debt investments, including transitional and mezzanine loans, preferred equity, and acquisition facilities. 

Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Villanova University and has successfully completed the Series 79 and Series 63 examinations.
