Justin Hechler 

Justin Hechler joined George Smith Partners in 2025, bringing nearly a decade of experience in real estate finance. Prior to that, he served as a Director of commercial mortgage originations at Greystone, where he specialized in multifamily and student housing assets. Over the course of his tenure, Justin worked on over $1 billion in transactions, utilizing a range of financing solutions including Agency debt (Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac), bridge loans, and the placement of LP, Co-GP, and preferred equity. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, where he was awarded the Presidential Scholarship.
