Dietrich Knoer

Dietrich is a real estate development and investment professional with domestic and international expertise in originating real estate investments and structuring optimal capital strategies. He has experience in managing the full transaction lifecycle, from land acquisition to business plan execution, with a focus on maximizing returns while mitigating risk. Extensive asset class experience spans from multifamily, office, industrial, senior housing, retail, and hospitality. Dietrich has well-established relationships with top institutional and high-net-worth equity investors, complemented by a robust network of banks and debt providers.

He started his career at Hines in Chicago and Atlanta before spending four years as a principal in JPMorgan Partners real estate private equity fund in London. Upon returning to Chicago in 2004, he became Chief Investment Officer at Higgins Development Partners. In 2013, Dietrich was recruited to become Chief Investment Officer at REDICO in Southfield, MI, laying the foundation for his involvement in the resurgent real estate market of Detroit and the formation of a new development company, The Platform.  He holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
