EB-5 Financing

A financing source derived from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, which allows foreign nationals to obtain permanent residency by investing in job-creating commercial enterprises. EB-5 capital is typically structured as mezzanine debt or preferred equity at below-market rates, making it an attractive gap financing tool. Minimum investment thresholds are set by USCIS, with reduced amounts available for projects in Targeted Employment Areas. EB-5 capital is particularly common in large-scale hospitality, mixed-use, and multifamily developments where significant job creation can be demonstrated.
