Mr. Huberty brings more than a decade of real estate investment and financing expertise to George Smith Partners, which he joined in 2024. His focus areas include Debt, Joint Venture, Ground Lease, LP Equity, and co-GP Equity transactions for commercial real estate stakeholders.
From 2019 to early 2024, he served as Vice President of Acquisitions at Montgomery Street Partners, a real estate investment firm specializing in co-GP equity. During this period, he orchestrated or assisted with closing approximately $2 billion in transactions utilizing various structures. His work encompassed multiple property types—multifamily, build-to-rent, student housing, ground lease, manufactured housing, seniors housing, industrial, and single-family assets—across the United States.
Previously, from 2014 to 2019, he worked at JP Morgan as an Acquisitions Analyst and Associate in the Real Estate Americas Group, concentrating on office, industrial, and multifamily investments throughout the Northeast and Southeast regions.
Mr. Huberty holds a BBA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as an MS degree in Finance.
