Matt Hiller joined George Smith Partners in 2024, bringing substantial real estate finance expertise to help developers secure project financing and navigate capital markets. His career began at Grant Thornton, where he managed distressed credit portfolios and debt transactions. He subsequently joined ACRES Capital, contributing to their acquisition of a distressed mortgage REIT and handling REO workouts, loan sales, underwriting, and originations. Most recently, he led originations at Clearwater Capital, a capital markets advisory firm.
Education
Matt holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Arkansas and an M.S. in Real Estate from NYU's Schack Institute of Real Estate.
