Jason Wang has 10 years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets, with expertise in structuring capital for new construction and value-add projects, as well as financing solutions for foreign national investors.
Throughout his career, Jason has closed more than $1.8 billion in loan transactions across a diverse range of capital sources, including life insurance companies, banks, CMBS/conduit lenders, agency lenders, and debt funds. Prior to joining George Smith Partners, Jason developed deep relationships with correspondent life insurance companies and lending institutions during his tenure at Slatt Capital.
Jason earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, with majors in Applied Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics.
Jason is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP), and the Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association (BREAA). He also serves on the board of the Chinese American Real Estate Association (CAREA).
