Senior Director
Dietrich is a real estate development and investment professional with domestic and international expertise in originating real estate investments and structuring optimal capital strategies. He manages full transaction lifecycles, from land acquisition to business plan execution, focusing on maximizing returns while mitigating risk. His asset class experience spans multifamily, office, industrial, senior housing, retail, and hospitality. Dietrich maintains established relationships with top institutional and high-net-worth equity investors, along with a robust network of banks and debt providers.
He began his career at Hines in Chicago and Atlanta before spending four years as a principal in JPMorgan Partners' real estate private equity fund in London. Upon returning to Chicago in 2004, he became Chief Investment Officer at Higgins Development Partners. In 2013, he was recruited to serve as Chief Investment Officer at REDICO in Southfield, MI, which led to his involvement in Detroit's resurgent real estate market and the formation of development company The Platform.
He holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
