Steven joined George Smith Partners in 2003, and has since facilitated placement of approximately $2.2 billion in debt and equity financing. He works with an array of capital sources including banks, Wall Street, life companies, pension funds, endowments, equity funds, mortgage REITs, and DUS originators. Steven is proficient with the structural requirements and risks mitigants associated with transitional business plans including ground-up construction, renovation, and leasing.
Prior to GSP, Steven worked for a private equity merchant bank, where he was instrumental in the start-up and sale of a software company. Steven holds an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Southern California. He was honored in April 2011 by Commercial Property Executive Magazine as one of the nation’s top 10 “Stars to Watch” among commercial real estate professionals under the age of 40.
