Mr. Lee joined George Smith Partners in late 2005 after two years as a Deputy Chief Operating Officer for a mid-level residential development firm based in the Los Angeles area. In that role he helped oversee the acquisition, entitlement, costing and construction of over 15 projects totaling several hundred residential units. Mr. Lee worked with the City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles, and California Coastal Commission to obtain entitlements and approvals for the development of single family, PUD and condominium projects. Previously, he worked for two years at a firm specializing in the acquisition and rehabilitation of multi-family apartment projects.
Since joining GSP Mr. Lee has financed over $200M in projects including land acquisition, for-sale residential development, and apartment construction as well as permanent financing for office, retail and apartments. Notably, Mr. Lee financed the first LEED certified small lot subdivision in the City of Los Angeles.
A native of Palos Verdes, Mr. Lee received his undergraduate degree from the University of California Los Angeles in 2001. He is a Community Leader at Shoreline Church in West Los Angeles and a frustrated tri-athlete.
